35 rebels, 1 soldier killed in Sri Lanka
Sri Lankan Army soldiers are seen here patrolling along the 'de facto' frontline on the Jaffna Peninsula, north of Colombo. Sri Lankan troops shot dead another 35 Tamil Tiger rebels and lost one of their own soldiers in fresh fighting in the island's north, the defence ministry said Saturday.
